Course Description and Learning Outcomes: (4) Topics you will learn about include functions, limits and continuity, derivatives, the Mean Value theorem, applications of derivatives, the Riemann integral, application of the integral, the fundamental theorem of integral calculus, and logarithmic and exponential functions.
Prerequisite: MATH 111 or placement.
Calculator: Portions of the midterm exams and homework may require a graphing calculator such as the TI-86. On the final exam no calculators will be permitted.

Last day for students to withdraw with a
W from Fall semester classes: Monday, Oct. 29.
Fall Break: Monday, October 15.
Midterm exams: September 10, October 1, and October 22.
Final Exam : There will be a common final on Saturday, December 8, 12:00-3:00 P.M. (Location TBA -probably MYBK Room 108) .
Note: Make up tests will be given only under extraordinary circumstances - doctor's excuse, death in the immediate family or court appearance. If you miss an exam, you must obtain a written excuse from the Dean of Undergraduate Studies.
Grading Policy and Assessment: Each midterm
will be worth 20%, the final will be worth 30% and the homework
10%. The lower bound percentages for the various
grades are given below:
